Ham and Asparagus Casserole

I'm still working on that left over ham!

found a good recipe for Ham and Asparagus Casserole. I thought the hubby might like it because he loves asparagus.

You need:
A bundle of asparagus cut up into 1-inch pieces
A generous 1 1/2 cup diced ham
1/2 milk
1 can of Cream of Asparagus soup
3/4 cup Shredded Italian Blend Cheese

For the topping:
1 cup busquick
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup Shredded Italian Blench Cheese

Before you start putting the ingredients in a big sauce pan, pre-head your oven to 400 degrees.

Put your asparagus and ham in the pot.

Add a 1/2 of a cup of milk.

Add 3/4 cup of the cheese. If you're like me, you sprinkle a little more after you put in the right amount :)

Don't forget the cream of asparagus soup! I almost did!

Blend it all together and bring it to a boil. Let it boil for 2 minutes.

When you're all done, put it in a 2 quart casserole dish. Spread it evenly.

I can't do two things at once (when it comes to cooking), so once that is done, put it aside and make the topping. You'll need a little mixing bowl or whatever you have around.

Pour 1 cup of the bisquick into your bowl.

Add 3/4 cup of the milk (I thought it looked like a lot, but don't worry, it's going to be a little runny).

Don't forget the cheese! I thought it sounded a little funny, but it was yummy!

Let it bake in the oven for 30 minutes (don't cover). Annnnndddd!

It was husband approved! We should have let it cool off a little more before we ate it, but it still worked out just fine :)

Enjoy!
